New Visconti Van Gogh Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman Fountain Pen
The Visconti Van Gogh ''Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman'' fountain pen is inspired on one of Vincent Van Gogh's last paintings, painted in 1990, in the final months of his life. For this painting he used pencil, brush and oil paint and watercolour.
Van Gogh began with a pencil drawing. Then he added oil paint and watercolour in many different shades of blue. He painted some of the roofs red, but these have since faded to brown. Because he left large areas of the paper blank, the colour white plays a large role in the scene.
The name of the painting and artist are delicately engraved around the pen's ring, and each pen is packed into a unique gift box that is complemented with a faithful reproduction of the painting. The pen itself utilizes Visconti's eighteen-faceted design, the many edges enhancing the vivid colors of the pen.
The Visconti fountain pen has a stainless steel nib, available in several line widths, and uses standard international cartridges or the supplied converter.
Stainless Steel nib. Classic styling. A tribute to Van Gogh art.
