The Lamy 2000 Fountain Pen was and remains one of the most iconic pens in history.
The Lamy 2000 Fountain Pen was and remains one of the most iconic pens in history.
This beautifully crafted pen was designed by Gerd A. Müller around fifty years ago and remains almost unchanged today. I found this pen to be incredibly smooth to write with as the pens unique, brushed body material known as Makrolon allowed a comfortable grip and is soft to touch.
As a daily writer, ink capacity is very important to me, so discovering that the Lamy 2000 uses a piston filling mechanism and that piston filers hold much more ink than their cartridge counterpart, I found this feature to be extremely valuable.
This incredibly well valued pen ensures that you get everything and more. It is one of the most reliable pens and one that you can carry around for day to day use.
